I have a custom Asset field when the filter scope is
"Assigned User" = currentReporter() OR "Managed By" HAVING user("currentUser()")
This is so, when a customer logs a ticket, it shows their assets. When the current user is from IT, it shows all the assets.
I have now it a snag; automation can't populate the field as the Actor is Automation for Jira.
How do I allow the automation to populate it? I can add a custom field and populate with Automation for Jira, but how do I put that in the AQL? Would it fall under currentuser ?
Hi @Myles Boyd
Can you show the field config and and issue when created and the following on automation
1. what type of project is this (e.g., company-managed, team-managed, etc.),
2. images that show your complete rule.
3. images showing the details of any relevant actions/conditions/branches.
4. images showing the Audit Log details for the rule execution.
5. Explain where the issue is.
These questions are not for not willing to help, but to have community members understand on how automation works.
