Custom Field: how to set Filter Assign Scope (AQL)

In Jira Server for the Custom Field Type "Assets Object" it was possible to set "Filter Assign Scope (AQL)". How can I do that in Jira Cloud?

And how can I set a Default value for the custom field in Jira Cloud?

AFAIK this is not included in Cloud anymore. The best way to assign objects would be an automation rule.

Regarding your second question. Assets default values can be set inside the config.

When you click "Display a default object when this field appears in a customer portal"  a default object will be set, based on the Filter Issue Scope (AQL), when the field appears in a portal.
