Hi,
I have setup custom fields for insight in JIRA. This works when raising a change through JIRA Service Desk. However when the customer raises the request via the portal the fields are not presented.
Once the ticket is raised a service desk user can edit and the Issue and the custom Insight fields are there.
I have enabled to Insight to communicate with JSD.

Did you check the Show object picker on customer portals in the insight custom filed configuration?
Did you add the filed to the create screen?
