Custom field is not updating

Hello everyone,

I would like to know why a custom field does not update the list of users that should be displayed.

We have a group called Approvers, but when we add a new user to that group, the field doesn't update the list.

It shows all the previous users that are in the group, but it's not showing the new members.

Hi @Carlos Giovanny Quintana Corredor 

If this is Approvals in JSM - it's because the way it works is...

  • Issue transitions into a Status which requires Approval
  • Jira looks for Approvers in Group A, and populates them into the ticket

^ The transition is the trigger to add users to the Approval field. Adding a new user to Group A does not reactivate that trigger.

It should add all users to any new tickets though - as the trigger has not yet been activated.
