Custom field with LOV and free text

Hello,

I would like to create a custom field with type 'Select List (single choice)' where the agent that picks the value of the field when editing the issue, can either pick a value from the list or add a new value and pick this one.

Is there a way to implement this?

Hi Aggelik,

I am not aware of anyway to do that. ScriptRunner Behaviours app MIGHT can do this but probably note.

@John Funk is correct here, the only fields available that can allow agents to add new options are the built in "Components" field (they must have appropriate project role to do so, and allows multiple selections), or the Labels field (which is free text and not exactly a select list, and allows multiple selections).

Labels seem to have  been the most appropriate option for our case.
