Customer Notification Email Body Automated Greeting ?!

Hi,

I'm customizing the email body of email notification the customer receives. I'm not sure how to do such that if the its morning time the email notifiaction is ent as Good Morning <user>, for Afternoon, Good Afternoon <user> and so on.

Can I know how to achieve this.

This is the not possible and it is not a good idea. Because when users are from different time zone and not same as Jira, it doesn't make sense.

To modify the content of the email sent to customers in JSM, Go to project settings  --> Customer notification, Click Edit against the required notification.

I don't think it's possible out of the box, might be be possible through automation rules though I wouldn't suggest investing the time to find out. You would be putting effort into replacing the built-in "Customer Notification" functionality just to change the email greeting based on the time. Which, in my opinion, would be a waste of your time for something I doubt most users would even notice.
