We are trying to build a Customer Notification template model for customers and wanted to show the Assignee name alone and not the Approver names in portal.
So is there any other variable can be added in notification section customized like smart variables.
I don't think "Customer notification" not support smartvalues as: {{assignee.displayName}}.
The only variables that you can select are the ones from the list.
For your solution you can build and automation with Automation for jira and used the smartvalue mentioned by my colleague @Nikola Perisic but please beware that you have a limit on automations run according to you Jira plan.
That won't be needed then. If we can able to create a Variable for it then it would be fine @Cristian0791
