Customer account in JSM

Ireneusz Jaszczak August 27, 2021

Can anybody tell me, why when I'm going to customer profile in project:

I have this view above? Shouldn't be some customer page info, where I could change information about the customer, like what name should be visible on this email?
If this is not managable from the JSM, so where is managed?

Because Customers are not licensed users and therefore do not have a profile. Your next question then might be – so why do I get the option to view the customers profile? To wit, I would respond, very good question and something I wish Atlassian would fix. Actually what I wish for is that Atlassian would support customer profiles.

Yeah, I have the same question. It seems that the artical is not correct https://support.atlassian.com/user-management/docs/manage-jira-service-management-customer-accounts/

Hi @YY Brother , which question exactly are you referring to and what are you referring to as inaccurate in the article?

There's no entry to management customer accounts.

What you see should depend on which version you have...
