Customer is not added to Organization's Users list

If user has been added to SD project as Customer, it does not show in Organization's User section.

If the same email address is being invited from User list, it creates another user account.

When user logs in to SD, only email address can be entered. So the user does not have a possibility to choose accounts.

Is there a way to merge these two accounts? Maybe automatically?

Hello Karina,

Thank you for reaching out to Atlassian Community!

When a customer is added to the site, their account will be stored in Jira since it's a local account, that's why they won't appear on Organizations.

To manage customers, it's necessary to go to Screen Shot 2020-03-09 at 17.10.09.png > Administration > Jira Service Desk or Screen Shot 2020-03-09 at 17.19.50.png> User management > Jira Service Desk.

As per I could understand the user has now two accounts and you need to merge, is that correct?

If that's the case, please follow the steps I mentioned before and find the user and migrate their account to Atlassian account, so the accounts will be merged and all tickets and history will be associated with one account.
