We are building KPI dash and would like to include average star rating on customer satisfaction. Is there a gadget for that or could someone help with syntax to create custom count on the gadget we are currently using.
Filter Counts
Hi @Lori Harris,
Yes, you can do this with our Great Gadgets add-on.
With the Issue Filter Formula gadget you can calculate and display the average satisfaction score (CSAT) and display it on your dashboard as a number or on a 5-star scale, like this:
With the Advanced Issue Filter Formula gadget you can do many other calculations against the Satisfaction field of Jira Service Management.
This app offers many other gadgets that you will find useful. See also this article on your blog: An effective dashboard for Service Desk and Customer Support teams in Jira Service Management.

Thank you,

Hi @Lori Harris
if you're open to solutions from the Atlassian Marketplace, this would be easy to do with the app that my team and I are working on, JXL for Jira.
JXL is a full-fledged spreadsheet/table view for your issues that allows viewing, inline-editing, sorting, and filtering by all your issue fields - including all JSM fields - much like you’d do in e.g. Excel or Google Sheets. It also comes with a number of advanced features, including the ability to calculate sum-ups with just one click.
This is how it looks in action:
As you can see above, you also easily calculate sum-ups across any issue groupings, and view e.g. the customer's "satisfaction comment" along with their rating. The rating is also available across JXL other advanced features, such as support for (configurable) issue hierarchies, or conditional formatting.
Any questions just let me know,
Best,
Hannes
