For the last several months, I have been tracking resolved tickets by day of the week and across 3 different timeframes (2am - 11am CST, 11am - 9pm CST, 9pm - 2am CST, and Total). I use 4 different filters to pull this data now and have it delivered via email to me and then I manually enter these numbers into Excel.
Is there anyway I can accomplish this by using the built-in Dashboards? Any recommended add-ons that might accomplish this?
I ended up finding a 'workaround' and semi-automating what I was already doing in Excel. Using the Excel Jira connector, I pulled in all issue keys and resolved dates. Using a formula I created a new column to break down each issue by hour. From there, I utilized pivot tables for each of my 8 hour timespans and then populated the data in the format attached:
Hi @Chris Green,
Unfortunately, I don't see any way to do this with Jira's default gadgets.
In case you want to try a plugin from Atlassian Marketplace, our Great Gadgets app could be helpful, at least in some extent. It has a Pivot Table & Pivot Chart gadget that could display a table with the Resolution Date x Resolution Hour and the number of tickets resolved.
The gadget cannot display hour ranges, like 2am - 11am CST, it can display only hours of day. In my example, hour 13 means issues resolved between 13:00:00 - 13:59:59.
Also, to display this, you will need to have an additional field containing the resolution date (in my example Resolution Hour) and the gadget configurable in a specific way.
