This just started today. When one of my developers creates a ticket they now get my name in the Reporter box. How did this happen? Help

Just for a better understanding of the issue, I would like to confirm if the issue is happening on a Jira Software project or Service Desk, because the question is marked as Service Desk but the product is not listed on your site.
For both Jira Software and Service Desk, there are two possible causes:
When creating an issue using the Create button, if the field Reporter is added to the "Create issue screen", the person creating the ticket will be able to create a ticket on behalf of another person.
Also, it might be related to an automation that edits the field Reporter after the ticket is created. To confirm if it's an automation, please, follow the steps below:
Jira Software:
Project settings > Automation (Classic project).
Project settings > Apps > Project automation (Next-gen project).
Jira Service Desk:
There are two types of automation:
Project settings > Automation and also Project automation (Classic project).
Project settings > Automation and Project settings > Apps > Project automation (Next-gen project).
If that's not the case, please let us know the type of project you are using and the product.
