We have our Jira Service Management integrated with our monitoring system. When an issue occurs, a ticket is automatically created.
Now, we'd like to be able to detect when the same resource is having recurring issues, so we can then create a Problem ticket for further follow up.
Is there a way to achieve this?
You can try https://support.atlassian.com/jira-service-management-cloud/docs/what-are-similar-requests/, once enabled give it some time to process the previous tickets and then give results for the newly incoming ones.
Hi @Jehad
Thanks for your reply. Similar requests are already enabled on our instance. It is not really automated right now. You still have to click on the dropdown box to see the possibly similar requests. Also, in that list of requests, the date is not shown, so it does not really reveal when these requests have happened.
It's a start, but not really water tight.
