Does Data Manager have a REST API Adapter?

We need to get CMDB data from an external system via a REST API. I don't see a generic REST API adapter that we can use to build this adapter. Can I do this via Forge?

I haven't seen a REST API adapter for Data Manager, unfortunately with it being in beta it doesn't have a adapter for my data sources yet either. Jira Assets does have an API https://developer.atlassian.com/cloud/assets/assets-rest-api-guide/workflow/ and data from the assets schema can be imported into Data Manager

There's not one currently. Atlassian will need to confirm whether one is planned. I know they are planning on having an API to the platform itself (likely a post GA feature), but I don't know about an 'open' REST API adapter to pull data from other systems.

If you mention what the source system is, they may develop an adapter for it specifically.

You may be best placed to write your own API query in your environment to dump the data to a .csv, then just run a flatfile .csv job to import the data instead.
