We are currently on JSM 5.4.4 and have this bug [JSDSERVER-12404] Account activation does not work for customers - Create and track feature requests for Atlassian products.
Our policy specifies to do only LTS updates.
I would like know how long our customers have to wait :-)

The fix didn't fix the bug on our instance. I have already a ticket and atlassian could reproduce it.
Background:
Our Customers can not set up their password after they have been invited if the portal is not login-free. If we open the portal everything works fine. This behaviour will be fixed with 5.7.
