Hello,
I just wonder, that if a task is completed and its status is closed, but the resolution remains Unresolved. Will, it going to harm anything?
Not "harm", but you'll confuse your users badly - most of Jira considers "resolution is empty" to mean "This issue is open and needs more attention", no matter what the status is.
Always set a resolution when going into a closed status, and clear it on re-open. By all means, do it with post-functions or automations, and don't trouble your people with it, but always set/clear it.
The resolution used to indicate why the issue was closed, and is considered an important feature in Jira. Can you leave it in unresolved? Sure, but for example reports that rely on the resolution will not work. Please have a look at Best practices on using the Resolution field for more information.

It was confusing for us when we were only using CLOSED without a resolution. It seems JSM doesn't consider a ticket officially closed unless there is a resolution populated.
