Edit Issue type

Hi I used to be able to easily move my issue types by hovering over the issue and selecting the edit icon.

I now cant edit my issue type without using the 'Move' functionality.

Can I ask if this feature was removed or if I need to edit the workflow or issue type configurations to do this?

Welcome to the community. 

There might be two reasons why it is not possible to change the issue type using the edit button.

The first reason might be, that the other issue types have different workflows. In that case you must use the move feature.

The second reason might be, that you have switched to the new issue view. The new issue view does not (or at least did not in the past) allow to change the issue type directly. But they are working on this and if this is the reason, this should be solved in the next weeks, I think.

It could also be the fields, similarly to the workflows - to allow "edit" of the issue type, the source and target must be using exacttly the same field confiugartions and contexts.
