Eeceive Email Requests O365 Group

I am attempting to implement requests within 1 of our JSD projects and i would like to use a custom email that is also an Office365 group.

This appears to fall over as i need to map this to a jira user and this then users there email :(

am i missing something silly or is this not possible?
