Email notification

Hello Team,

I just want to setup mail notification for a service desk project that means when ever any one is raising a new request, it will send the mail notification to the mail distribution.

I have tried adding the common DL to notification scheme and also tried with project automation. Both the way it did not work, it may be due to the common dl is not added as user.

Also, we can not add common dl to any project as it is not a real user.

So is there any way to achieve this ?
