Error When Using Math Expressions in Automation Rule

After reading the linked documentation on how to use math in automation rules I am getting the below error

The syntax I am using is "{{#=}}3*{{issue.customfield_10004}}" which is throwing the error referenced below. Any ideas as to what I am doing wrong?

From that article you sent, seems like you are missing the 

{{/}}

at the end.
