Hello. I'd like to know whether it is possible or not to have a specific field associated with an issue type (considering the fact that the associated field is editable) but not visible on the issue screen.
For instance, automation can update a field in the background that is not visible to agents/customers.
Thank you!
You can hide fields by customizing the issue layout. There's a section called "Hidden fields". I suggest reading through the documentation to understand how you can achieve that for your agents:
If you have any further questions, let us know. :)
Best, Max
Just to clarify, I can hide these fields but I am still able to interact with them per issue, correct?
Thank you!

Hey Emil, exactly. You can still interact with the field in automation rules, for example. It's just not part of the issue view.
