Is there a way to have a field's name display on agent view what it was renamed for use in the form?
For example, say we rename Summary to Subject in the form. Subject is displayed when filling out the request, but it is shown as Summary when an agent opens the ticket.
This example is far less problematic than our others. We have custom fields named certain ways for organization of them. It's difficult when I would like to reuse the same Y/N toggle for multiple projects. Naming them generically leaves the agent with no useful information unless they click on "view customer request".
We are on cloud Jira - hopefully this question makes sense.

In Jira it's not possible to display a different name for a field name. Jira will always show you the actual field name as set up in the custom fields.
