Not sure if this is possible but would there be a way that if a "team" was selected as a custom field then a list of technicians is limited to who is in that team.
I know it could be done in Insight, but from the Agents view having to edit the insight object, delete the current value, select the new one, select the tick is too much clicking for them.
I am not even sure how it could be done to behind the scenes say these people are part of this team in order to filter the second drop down list.
Dunno.. I think I am grasping here.

@Ste404 you can use a custom field of multiple users or you can use an automation to set the assignee basead on a list.
However, I don't know if I understood your question correctly.
Could you describe it better?
