Yes, it is possible, for example:

status changed FROM "Open" TO "In Progress" BY 5cd147905c99a60dcbae0977

When I type 

status changed FROM "Open" TO "In Progress" BY 5cd147905c99a60dcbae0977 

it doesn't accept the name of the specific person after BY.
