We have recently run a test migration of our Jira and Confluence services to the cloud but in Jira we now see the name former user against any old comments that people had made. New comments are fine just not the old ones.
I first migrated the users using the Jira Migration tool and then did an import of Jira and Confluence
I've done some research and from what I can see the problem is that we have somehow deleted the users but if this is what we have done why has it only affected Jira and not Confluence and why are the users that have been deleted still able to access the system Eg I can logon fine and make comments but any of my old comments show as former user.
Cheers
David
Hello, we have the similar issue.
All confluence space comments became authored by "Former user (Deleted)" after migration to cloud via Confluence Migration Assistant (we've migrated users and spaces). Are there any solutions/workarounds?
