I need to design a form, that requires 3 Asset selection fields, all from the same Object Schema.

I only the data in the form, so didn't want to create a custom field for each one.

However, when adding an asset field without linking, I can't see a way to define the schema.  Probably answering it myself, but do I really need to create unneccessary fields for this?

To show information form an assets schema anywhere in Jira you need to create Custom Fields of the type assets.
