Getting CMDB data into a report

We are using Charts and Reports for Jira Service Management to run reports.

I am trying to run a report on CIs and our CI field is connected to CMDB. Under DataView Columns I don't see any field for CI, so all of my data just shows up under the Unknown heading. This means when I view my data as a bar chart, there is only 1 bar called unknown, even though we have requests that have CIs assigned to them.

I am assuming the report tool just can't see the data from CMDB, or at least I can't find it.

Are we able to get this data? Or will I need a different app to help with this?

Seems like the CI field type is unsupported. Can you can please provide the details via the support desk mentioned in the link here?
