[HELP] issue in jira service desk project

Rabona Corporation May 13, 2020

Hello everyone
in the list of requests until a few days ago, if I selected the status and could close it or set it resolved from 2 days I can no longer, when I click does not open anything, while if I do it from within the request it works.

It is a bug?

I don't have touch settings, before worked fine.

Hello @Rabona Corporation ,

Thanks for reaching out, and this does look buggy, However I took a look at this and I was not able to reproduce this behavior in my test instance, so there has to be something either locally blocking this (i.e. browser issue) or a configuration difference between the systems triggering a bug.

I noticed in the screenshot that there is an alternate language pack in use, I am not fluent in languages other than English and I am wondering if you could confirm what is the local language setting in the system compared to your profile settings under "Account Preferences" ?  I tested with a mix and match of account and  System languages set to English (US), Spanish (Spain), Italian (Italy), and Portuguese (Brazil) just to see if I could reproduce with a different setting in the language profiles but I saw no change, but I just want to verify we have everything lined up between the systems for testing in case this stems from the language profiles selected.

Next lets try and rule out any browser related issues, I recomend running through the "Indispensable tests" section of the following KB, noting that you will not be able to check the proxy configurations at that step only applies to the server platform:

While you are checking these things out also pull up your browsers developer tools Javascript console to see if there are any errors listed that can help narrow this down.

Regards,
Earl
