Has Jira Service Management event capture, monitorinn event, event cwe are comapirn Service now with Atlassian fnctionalities .
I am trying to know if Jira Service Management has event capture, monitoring event, event correlation functionalities for Infrastructure operations?
Thanks
Thanks for the answer @Walter Buggenhout and @Rebekka Heilmann _viadee_ , but still have some doubts , for a client we are sked to compare Service Now and ATlassian regarding this :
does Atlassian in some way covers this ? :
Infrastructure Operations , in concrete: Events Capture, events monitoring, and correlation of events that not very sure what it is.
This is why I need a true response on order to tell them if Atlassian can cove it or not...
and in other hand is Opsgenie included in any licensing, plan? premium or enterprise?
Thanks!
Here is a list of available integrations for JSM/Opsgenie: Integrate Opsgenie with your tools | Opsgenie | Atlassian Support
So no, there is no native Monitoring, you can only integrate Monitoring solutions.
At the moment OpsGenie has a different license. It looks like they are integrating all functionality into JSM though. I couldn't find updated license info yet. I guess it will become available in the next couple of weeks latest. So far, standard Alerting and Scheduling is available with a Standard JSM license.
If you need more info on whether the Apps cover the functionality, you could always ask an Atlassian Solution Partner for a Product demo.

Atlassian has acquired OpsGenie a couple of years ago and integrated it into JSM for exactly this purpose. So yes.
Hope this helps!

@Rebekka Heilmann _viadee_ is probably right on the "monitoring" aspect, @Pilar Lopez Gracia. I did not really consider the difference in monitoring itself versus processing the alerts that monitoring brings into your Service Management platform.
Atlassian offers a holistic solution called Open DevOps - recognising that no single vendor will ever be able to build all the tools to manage every single aspect of modern day organisations. And so indeed it integrates by default with many bespoke systems that are purpose built for certain aspects of the DevOps lifecycle.

no, JSM doesn't include monitoring. Opsgenie is now getting more integrated in JSM, but that covers mainly the Alerting and might require additional licensing (currently ongoing changes)
OpsGenie channels multiple Monitoring tools into one platform and manages On-Call Schedules and alterting. You find an overview of available integrations here: Integrate Opsgenie with your tools | Opsgenie | Atlassian Support
