Hi there,
at my workplace we are just setting up a ServiceDesk project as a ticket system. Since we're currently only using one project, we only have one customer portal to select for the helpcenter. Our customers log into the Cloud and get redirected directly to the helpcenter.
Now the helpcenter basically mirrors the customer portal minus the Logo. This is confusing our customers, since it looks different (search bar only in helpcenter and logo only in customer portal). I tried changing the customer portal URL to the helpcenter URL, but it's not editable.
Is there a way to get the helpcenter to display only a Link to the customer portal or skipping the helpcenter alltogether when logging in through the Cloud-App?
Best regards,
Alex
Hi Alex,
If your single portal, is the only one featured, then the 'others', if there are any, are hidden. It's still a two hop process, but it should be simpler for customers to know that, this is the only portal.
There isn't a way (that I'm aware of) of removing the Help Centre, as it's designed to become the one-stop place, for all your future projects.
Have you customised the Help Centre ?
Cheers
Mark
Hi Mark,
Thank you for your answer. It is my understanding, too, that there's no way around the helpcenter. We have customized both the helpcenter and the customer portal to resemble our corporate color scheme and include the logo, but they do look slightly different due to different elements on both sites.
Best regards,
Alex
