Can you describe what happens when you try to enter a field that is that far in the future? And where are you trying to fill out the field? When creating an issue? Any context here will be helpful to point you in the right direction. I'm only aware of restricting the date range through validators in workflows, for example.
By default, you can select dates in the date fields this far in the future.
