I am trying to create a service board and unlike team managed boards I have made before this does not have the same simple configurability for creating fields etc. I have identified the field configurations and started creating a new one but cannot work out how to make fields show in the main body of the ticket instead of down the right hand context column?

The issue views in Company managed projects are very different to tam-managed. They are mainly determined by their "screens", which are lists of issues that should appear in the four cases (create, edit, view and transition). The view screen is fixed, there's no choice in where fields appear, other than their order in the details view (after the view has pushed around all the fields it wants to pull out and group together).
Only system fields will appear in "the main body", there's no way to get other fields into it.
