How can we limit the Insight API to return specific attributes only?

Hello,

     We're trying to create an app for Insight asset management.  We have quite a number of attributes for each asset but we do not need all the attributes to be pulled into the app.  Is there a way to specify which attributes the API will call?

Thank you, @Trina Washington , by endpoint I meant for example/iql/objects to search for the objects (see here). Anyway I wasn't able to find any parameter, which would enable you to specify the attributes.
