How do I add myself as a customer in my own project so that I can see what the customer sees?

I am a JIRA-administrator and a site-administrator. I created a test project. I want to add myself as a customer using a different email account so that I can understand and see what one of my customers would see. I want to make sure that customers do not have access to other projects. Please explain how to accomplish this. Thank you.

I created an extra email for testing that is a customer only. the pain with this is having to logout and back in but you can work from two browsers.
