For employees that separate from the company. I want to have it set up where after I close the ticket. It will automatically unassign the equipment (object assets) we have them assigned to.
I'm setting it up where the trigger is "issue transition" to resolve

But I'm unclear what to do for the "edit object attributes". I don't understand how it can reference the correct equipment.
I have a field where the separating employee's Jira account is on the form, and because of that it fills in the assets into the form automatically (in their own respective object asset fields). So, I would want to either reference that user and strip everything somehow or reference these fields and remove the user.

If you already have the employee's assets automatically filled into the object asset fields you would just need to use the edit asset attribute and select the corresponding asset field to update the assets linked to that field
so trigger on issue transition then edit asset field attributes select the asset field that the objects are linked in and choose the attribute that it's using to link the user (current user, assigned user, etc) and just leave it blank to clear it. Then repeat this action for each asset field you have
