How do I save an AQL filter

James Gaiser July 2, 2025

Hello I would like to create and save an AQL filter like I can with a JQL filter. I can enter in the  formula with advanced search in the object menu and can see the records I want. Is there a way to save that filter and attach it to a jira dashboard?

Hello @James Gaiser

I am not finding a way to do that in Cloud.

There is a change request for that feature to which you can add your vote:

https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JSDCLOUD-10829

There is the Assets Reports feature, but that is available only with Premium and Enterprise subscriptions. Your post tags indicate you are using Standard.

I am not an Assets expert, though. Hopefully others will chime in with some alternatives.

Hi @James Gaiser

@Trudy Claspill is right there is no option to do this.

As you have Assets you are on a Premium/Enterprise plan, so you can create reports as suggested.
