We are on Jira Helpdesk Cloud SaaS.
I have verified my own Domain name in Atlassian Admin and connected an gmail-account under that domain name in the project settings.
We receive incoming support emails under the configured email support@ourname.com.
But when we answer, the outgoing email is support@<ourname>.atlassian.net.
We would like to send emails from the system under support@<ourdomain>.com
I cannot find anything in the Project Settings to set another sending-email/domain name, and i cannot imagine that there is no possibility for such an obvious feature request.
We have a Jira Helpdesk Project running. I think it is a next-gen Project, but i am not really sure since i could not chose between having a next-gen project and a standard? one while setting it up.
So please tell me - what do i do wrong or where do i have to look ? :D

If you want all your mails from the system to be from your own domain and not atlassian.net, you need to follow all steps described in the documentation.
