We have multiple product lines each with their own branding (i.e. icons, color schemes, etc)
A long time ago, we set up our customer facing portal, and now we're looking to change the icon on the top left side of the screen and the background color image used on one of our customer facing portals.
I see where we can set the icon for a specific portal, which is in the inside section of the portal, but I can't figure out where you set the icon that is on the top left of the portal.

Here is the overall reference link on how to customize one's Help Center Portal - https://support.atlassian.com/jira-service-management-cloud/docs/customize-the-look-and-feel-of-your-help-center-and-portal/
Keep in mind that there are some limitations on what you can do. NOTE - there are third party add-ons that can extend the customizations further and give you more functionality.
Hope this also helps.
