Dear all,
We have a customer who is using Jira cloud internally.
They actually need to create a new service portal in order that their own customers can submit request from that portal only.
As this portal is a cloud url expose to public we need to answer few questions :
1 - what is best customer authentication method to setup in order that they remains only customer user and not consume a service Desk licence
2- How to avoid non authorize user to place request ( like potential spammers)
Thanks for clarification
regards
I'd check out these help pages:
These help pages will provide you an overview of what is possible using JSM Permissions both Instance-wide and per-Project.
In terms of licensing, as long as the customers remain Customers, they won't consume a Jira/Jira Service Management licence. To see what account type might be best for them, check out this further help page: https://support.atlassian.com/user-management/docs/manage-jira-service-management-customer-accounts/
