Ok, so I know that it is obviously not malware. I suspect that we all know what emails and links that I am talking about -- emails to "try a new product or app" and pop-up links throughout the environment that encourage users to click and request a costly license and/or product and application.
Everything that I've seen and read so far indicates that any possibility to remove any of this exists in the enterprise product plan -- has anyone found a way to purge these from the environment on premium or lower plans?
I'm not sure if you've seen these on Atlassian's Jira Site:
CONFCLOUD-79223 JRACLOUD-8045 CLOUD-12131
I would suggest voting for those and watching them for updates.
I also saw this in a comment for JRACLOUD-8045:
"Hi everyone,

The pop ups are annoying and seeing we are paying already for the premium version, why force "try this".
If i wanted to try this, i would go looking.

This is 100% the problem. I'm guessing that it's going to get worse given that Atlassian support hasn't acknowledged the problem.
What can we do? *shrugs shoulders* Guess it's job security then, haha.
