Hi,
How the back up manager is going to work in Jira?
@Sreenadh hi,
Backup in Jira cloud can be used only manually. This means that you can take backups of your instance which you can upload to another instance (cloud or server). These are different backups for Jira. Read more about it here https://support.atlassian.com/jira-cloud-administration/docs/export-issues/
There isn't an automatic backing up system yet, but there is this issue https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/CLOUD-6498 which is under consideration from Atlassian.
The external system import wizard let you import issues from various files such as csv or JSON and let you map different fields. You can read more about it here https://support.atlassian.com/jira-cloud-administration/docs/import-data-from-a-csv-file/
Let me know if the above helps.
