Hi @Mahesh Kallepalli -
I've done a few migrations and these detailed steps worked each time: https://confluence.atlassian.com/adminjiraserver/migrating-jira-applications-to-another-server-938846962.html
Be sure to backup your jira instance and database prior to doing anything! This way you can always revert back. If you are upgrading versions (not sure what version you are on VS the version you are going to), but your dbconfig.xml may change.
Thanks.
@Thomas B Destination server has already set connection with database through . Shall we take whole backup through admin console --> System -> Backup system it will create a zip file . we can import that zip file in destination instance . Is this right process and does all data will move

Create a backup from the old system. Then on your new system go to Admin > System > Restore System, then select the backup from the old system.
Note: The restore clears your entire new system that you are restoring to. If you have data in the new system, it will be erased.
