Hi all!
I have a question about Jira Service Desk Cloud: I've created a new issue with specific automations that edit the assignee field, plus other things (dependening on the automation, they edit other custom fields, too).
Depending on the automation, I want to send an e-mail to a specific person or people (i.e. automation 1 sends an e-mail to person A, automation 2 to person A and B, etc), but I don't know how to do it. Already tried to send an e-mail (as a "then" inside automation), but you can only put as recipients "Customers involved" or "Reporter", and I need to send an e-mail to specific(s) person/people.
The whole idea is to have a way to inform specific people (just to be aware, no assignees), but without using the comment section.
Any ideas?
Are you using the the standard automation built into Jira Service Desk Cloud or the Jira LITE Automation (free plugin)?
With the latter you have the advantage of specifying anybody in the To, CC, BCC of the email, based on the assignee or any criteria you choose.
Here is an example:
-Mike
