How to add smart values in a customer notification

Inside the template for "Approval required" I need to add smart values to provide to approvers information they rather to see in the mail.

I need to modify this template because is the one that has the buttom to approve or deny the request.

How can I build that structure with HTLM and CSS with the Smart values? Is that possible? Thanks

It is not possible, the only smart values that you can use in the email template are listed if click on insert values

If you want to create your own approval notification you would have to disable the customer notification for approval required and then use automation to send it out.
