Hello everyone.
I have a question regarding creating some kind of a dynamic Confluence page, which is linked to ITSM.
By now, I have created a "Change tracking" confluence template, and I have linked it to the project ITSM.
Is there a possibility (or an add-on) for this Confluence page to get automatically updated (for an example updating a table inside it) whenever a new Change Request is created (or existing one updated)
Basically, if I have a simple table with columns :
Name, Date, Impacted Services, Status -> I would like to add a new row to this table whenever a new Change request has been added to ITSM && update the current row if Status in ITSM has been changed.
I hope I have managed to explain the mail goal here.
Thank you all in advance,
Azur.
Hi @Azur Mujezinovic ,
if your gal is to have a table up to date with some jira tickets, my suggestion is to create a specific JQL filter that matches your issues and add a JIRA issue macro (https://support.atlassian.com/confluence-cloud/docs/insert-the-jira-issues-macro/) within your confluence page. Does it fit your requirement?
Fabio
Hello @Fabio Racobaldo _Catworkx_ ,
Thank you for the response.
Yes, this does fit the requirement partially. I am now having problems displaying a name of a device that the ticket is tied to.
It is a custom field, and I have tied it to ITSM, and is shown there, but not shown in the Jira macro.
Also, if I adjust the JQL to "....AND "IT Server" IS NOT EMPTY", it does filter things out properly, but still shows no data in table once I include it via "Display Options".
Do you maybe have any ideas ?
Thank you in advance,
Azur
