Hello,
I would like two different screens for the same task.
Currently, I have a helpdesk screen that I would like to keep but I want to change the actual JIRA screen inside the system.
So the "Helpdesk" I will call "outside the system" and the standard screen for agents and software users the "inside system"
I want the inside system "Create"screen to state "To submit a request, please follow this link to the helpdesk". We have a few add-ons that only work in the helpdesk. Is there a way to set the create screen to be different for "inside" and "outside"?
Hi,
The create screen for the portal (outside/helpdesk) is based upon the "inside screen"
What's the end goal? Help people find the right place or prevent tickets from being created the wrong way?
One way to get around the part of people creating tickets from the inside is to disallow them to do so via Permission Scheme
If only allow"Service desk customer - portal access" to be to Creates issues then no one would be create tickets without using the portal.
If you decide to go with this way, also remember to add the users to the customer role in the projectl
Also make sure you don't reuse the same permission scheme somewhere else where someone should be able to create a ticket in any other way.
We have certain add-ons that do not work on the "inside screen" therefore, I don't want people using it.
If that is the way to do it, that is how I will do it!
Thank you very much.
