How to configure filter scope and filter issue scope in Asset object?

Shobana Regupathy April 5, 2023

Hi,

Please refer the scenario given below:

I have added asset objects with Object Schema as "CMDB_CI_New".

Added Object type as "ALU CMDB" and through CSV import loaded CI data into "ALU CMDB".

It has an attribute "Project" which should dynamically appear in the custom field "Configuration Items" in the issue form.

Under specific project (ALU) I need to show CI's only related to that project.

How can I achieve this using filter scope and filter issue scope?

Thanks in advance.

Regards,

Shobana

Hi @Shobana Regupathy ,

sorry that it took so long to respond. Could you solve your problem?
The screenshots look like on prem, but you selected Cloud with Standard Plan as deployment for your question. I guess this might be wrong, because Assests are only included in Premium onwards.

If it is on prem. You should be able to filter the objects via the issue filter scope. You could try:

Project = currentProject()

This should work, if your Project attribut is actually of type project.
