How to create a Jira link programatically that will open in Jira App (iOS)

I've noticed that the notification E-mails that are generated by Jira will open the issue nicely in the app while using an absolute link to the issue will open in Safari.

I can see that the "View Issue" button in the notification E-mail has atlOrigin parameter. Is there a way to generate a link to an issue that will open in the Jira app without the atlOrigin parameter, if not, then how can I generate an atlOrigin parameter?

Hello Andreas,

Thank you for reaching out to Atlassian Community!

Just to make sure that we are on the same page, I would like to know if you are talking about agent or customer notifications.

Customer notification has the "View request" link that will redirect to the customer portal. Currently, Jira Service Desk only works for agents in the mobile app, because the customer portal is not available on the mobile version. If a customer has the app and clicks on the "View request" they will be redirected to the mobile browser.

There is a feature request suggesting the implementation of this ability:

Otherwise, when an agent/admin clicks on that link, on Android or iOS, we tested here and there is the option to open in App and it will show the agent view.

Regards,
Angélica
