So I have created multiple approval flow where I have master task.
Depending of selection of one field in that task, automation will create 2 or 3 subtask, depending on selection.
As subtasks require different approvals from different people, I would like to have for each subtask different screen:
Subtask1:
Budget approval (yes/no)
Comment:
Subtask2:
Compliance approval (yes/no)
After subtasks is in final state, I would copy that field back to main task.
My problem is I can not create more than one screen for subtask type.
As workaround maybe one screen with 3 tabs, showing all the fields, but allowing only specific user to edit would be solution.
Any advice?
If you want to have a different screen, I would suggest you have different sub-task issue types. One for compliance and the other one for budget approval. Then you can choose which screens/fields you would like to add and you could use the same workflow if the same process is followed.
After they are pushed to approved, you can use jira automation to copy to the main task as follows from one of my tutorials? Link: https://youtu.be/DcPYrw-Puus?si=-jwtUk6vj5MH-Nh5
Good luck
