You'll see, my company is performing a system migration, and we have a bunch of tickets (issues in Jira) to migrate
At Jira we've created all the assets required to have our current active clients in order to relate the new tickets with the client in a CustomField
In our old system are clients that no longer work with us, so, they have no asset at JIRA...
So, the thing is, and not sure if is possible:
- Right now, the issue template has a CustomField that is like a dropdown to select the client related
- The migration will be performed via JSON format, is there a way to, depending on the client, the CustomField could be wether a related client or plain text (if the client does not exist)?
In case no, what approaches do you suggets?
